Africa. In a narrow
zone
off NW Africa, the
relatively
warm nearsurface layer
is
much thinner in the MICOM
mode
simulation than in the
two
hybrid coordinate simulations.
The
annual cycle of mixed layer
temperature
is much larger in the
MICOM
mode simulation,
