The preliminary data being released for CLIVAR P6(Leg 1) are the *.MET files received
from Scripps (Roger Revelle) via Dru Clark and the Rolling Deck to Repository
Project. They contain the underway data and navigation that have calibration 
corrections applied. For details see: metacq.pdf.

The other formats are available upon request from the CLIVAR DAC
(clivarmet@coaps.fsu.edu).
